Stain Glass Candles

We were very impressed by the stain glass windows in the church we visited yesterday.
Today we made our own stain glass windows.
We folded card into two, and then again into two.
We drew and then cut a semi-circle and a rectangle.
When we opened this out we could see the candle shape.
We covered the holes in the black paper with coloured acetates.
Our candles look wonderful on the window with the sun shining through.

Valentine's Day snails

We have made some gorgeous Valentine's Day snails for someone we love.
We did all the great printing on them by just using our finger tips.
They look great!

Drumming with Alan

We took our owl and Dino to drumming lessons today.
 Past our local scout den,
and in to our local community centre.
They got to meet Alan our drumming teacher.
He got us all to do warm ups before we began drumming.

Owl even had a turn to play our loud and soft Hide and Seek game.
